Diane S. Fraley

Diane is President and founder of D.S. Fraley Associates. Since 1984 the firm has helped companies understand people, their needs, and ways to create products and services that meet those needs.  D.S. Fraley Associates works nationally and internationally.

Over the years, Diane has facilitated thousands of focus groups, listening to over 25,000 people express their feelings on a wide range of topics.  She combines her understanding of people with extensive research design and methodological expertise.

Diane's academic background is in linguistics and anthropology.  Her ethnographic studies on the eye movements of poker players and mother infant interaction give her a firm basis for qualitative research design and deep analysis of consumer behavior.  Diane moved from academia to the television industry where she did analysis of channel switching behavior for Warner Cable.  She worked in the toy industry for Kenner where she was the in-house focus group moderator -- she conducted product testing groups.  Her work at Burke Marketing Research put her on the supplier side of market research.

Diane works with people of all ages, from toddlers to seniors, and from all walks of life.  Her work spans over 100 product and service categories.  The D.S. Fraley client list includes many Fortune 100 companies.

Diane is a leader at the annual Creative Problem Solving Conference, sponsored by the Creative Education Foundation.  Diane is a frequent presenter on advanced qualitative techniques for the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA).
