Stop it

Draw the line.

The psychologists talk about setting boundaries, usually to protect personal space from toxic behavior. But there is a different kind of boundary that I need to set. It’s not about people. It’s about an influx of stuff and feeling like I have to take all of it on. Things are changing fast. I take a step but feel that one was not enough. Overwhelm. Exhaustion. Defeat. They raise their ugly heads. So I draw a line. I keep what matters and stop the it that invades peace of mind and progress.

In what ways does an influx of stuff impact you?
In what ways might you draw the line to stop it from impacting you?
