Do Not Disturb
Put yourself in a box.
I advocate thinking “out of the box.” I ask “Is there another way to think about this?” I look for what’s new, what’s different. Shifting my usual way of thinking takes me past the familiar, the obvious. So this might look like putting myself in a box is a bad thing. Not necessarily so. Being outside the box can be overwhelming. Exhausting. Immobilizing. The onslaught of options crippling. Time for reprieve? Make a box. Crawl in. Put out a “Do Not Disturb” sign. It’s for sanity’s sake.
Ever feel consumed by an onslaught of options?
In what ways might you find safe haven?
