Norma sits cross-legged inside a white circle against a black background, wearing a red shirt and holding a white cup close to her heart. Her open eyes gaze downward toward the cup.

Holding What Matters

Once I recognize what nourishes me,
I can give it a place in my life.

Insight

I am learning that recognizing what nourishes me is an important part of honoring myself. What matters does not need to be justified, pursued, or held tightly. Sometimes, simply acknowledging its presence allows me to appreciate the meaning it brings to my life. When I give what matters a place in my awareness, I make room for it to become part of how I live.

Reflection

What am I recognizing as meaningful in my life, and how can I give it space without needing to control or possess it?
