No thing is too small and no thing is too big. All things essential to the whole. If one thing goes awry, it ripples through the whole.
When I feel small and inconsequential, as I so often do, I recall the explosion of the Challenger exploding because a tiny seal around the O-ring failed and the whole space-shuttle mission blew up.
So, I play my part, no matter how small or inconsequential. I remind myself that the inconsequential can have great — albeit unseen — consequences.
