Norma sits curled up, holding herself tightly, reflecting on the difference between protecting what matters and holding it too tightly.

The Grip

I can hold what matters
without holding it so tightly.

Insight

I can mistake holding tightly for keeping myself safe. Some things are worth protecting, but protection does not have to become a grip. I can value what matters, keep what serves me, and still soften my hold. Security may come not from holding more tightly, but from trusting that I can loosen my grip without losing myself.

Reflection

What am I holding more tightly than I need to?
