Norma reaches toward one of several similar white cups, noticing a small heart that distinguishes it from the others. Text reads, “Difference. Clarity begins when I notice the difference.

Difference

Clarity begins when I notice the difference.

Insight

I am learning that clarity does not always arrive as a dramatic realization. Sometimes it begins with simply noticing that something feels different.

The choices before me may look much the same. Each may be reasonable. Each may even be good. But when I pay closer attention, I can begin to recognize the subtle differences between them—and what those differences mean to me.

I don’t always need to know immediately which choice is right. Sometimes clarity begins with noticing what draws my attention, what resonates, and what quietly distinguishes itself from everything around it.

Reflection

What becomes clearer when you pay attention to the small differences that matter to you?
