Still, I Choose
Fear can follow me withoutleading me.
Insight
I am learning that fear does not have to disappear before I move.
Sometimes fear makes me want to stay exactly where I am—to wait until I feel certain, safe, or ready. I can become so caught in what might happen that standing still begins to feel like the safest choice.
But staying still is also a choice.
I can acknowledge what frightens me without allowing it to hold me in place. I may not know exactly what lies ahead, and I may carry some fear with me as I go.
I don’t need to be fearless to take the next step.
Fear can follow me without leading me.
Reflection
Where might fear be holding you still when you are ready to move?
