What Is Mine to Carry?

I can be responsible for my part
without carrying the whole.

Insight

I am learning that being responsible does not mean carrying everything. I can recognize the needs, emotions, and expectations of others without making them mine to manage. Justice asks me to look honestly at what belongs to me, to take responsibility for my choices and actions, and to allow others the same responsibility for theirs. I can care deeply, act with integrity, and still honor the boundaries that protect my values and peace.

Where am I carrying what belongs to someone else, and what would it mean to give my own part my full attention?
