Norma stands inside a white circle against a black background, with one foot stepping into the white space beyond it. Wearing a red shirt and black pants, she looks down thoughtfully at the boundary she is crossing.

The Line I Drew

I thought I couldn’t cross it.
Then Iremembered I drew it.

Insight

I am beginning to recognize that some of the boundaries I experience as limitations are ones I created along the way. They may have once provided safety, structure, or a sense of control, but that doesn’t mean they must remain unchanged. I don’t need to judge myself for drawing the line or erase what it once meant. I can acknowledge its purpose, recognize that I have changed, and allow myself to move beyond it.

Reflection

What boundary have I continued to honor without questioning whether I still need it?
